Processing settings

Natural RGB colours with gentle contrast.

Colour balance targets colour casts. Dim stars: 100 is the maximum filter strength, not complete star removal. At 0% look strength, all adjustments are hidden.

What this version does — and what happens to your image

Quick processing for finished astro photos. HOO, SHO and Modified SHO interpret existing RGB colours; they do not separate real Hα, OIII or SII channels. No stars or nebulae are generated with AI. Noise reduction, sharpening and star reduction are gentle local filters, not specialised deconvolution or star removal.

Your file is processed in your browser memory. There is no image upload or automatic saving. Removing the image or closing the page discards your work. Download the result first. Original EXIF/GPS metadata is not copied to the export.

TIFF: one image per file, 8-/16-bit RGB or grayscale, converted to 8-bit RGBA for processing. TIFF colour profiles are not interpreted. Keep the original in Siril/PixInsight for colour-critical or scientific processing. FITS, XISF, RAW, 32-bit float and stacking are not supported here.

TIFF decoder: UTIF.js 3.1.0 · pako 2.1.0 (MIT). Both libraries are served locally by GalaxyHunters.
